We’ve had such a great response to our Earth Day 08 pickup event that we’re now booked solid for Tuesday, April 22 and have decided to add an extra day to collect additional items. We will be collecting on Wednesday, April 23rd as well.
Please call & book a pickup request by this Friday, April 18, 2008 no later than 12pm to confirm your spot.

Dear Thriftopia people:
I represent ENJO Canada, who offers chemical-free cleaning cloths. We have a great one for windows and one that’s great on any type of lens material. (I flew in on Air Canada last night and cleaned the inside airplane window and the personal movie screen with one and it did a great job! - no chemicals).
I would love it if you could recommend me to anyone who is looking for a chemical-free way to clean their equipment or if you have anyone interested in just getting rid of the chemicals in their homes and offices.

P.S. I volunteer a lot of my time at Central United Church in Barrie. Perhaps we could do a “round-up of old equipment event” having each person pay a minimum amount per piece of outdated equipment that could go to the church fundraising goals ($5.00/pc?) Just an idea, think about it and let me know. The church could act as a depot and you could pick up from us. A little press for you and the church, and a great green thing to do.
